12"x12"x19" White Styrofoam Block-Crafts Displays !!

Product Information:

  • This sale is for one white styrofoam block
  • Size: 12x12x19 inches
  • Used for insulation, crafts, window displays, or floatation for floats. 
  • We have tested single blocks with 300+ pounds of weight by stepping on them and they support that weight without becoming unstable.  Shoe impressions are also not evident when we step off them.

Condition:

  • New and unused.
  • These are untrimmed raw blocks as they come bulk from the manufacturer.  These are construction surplus (I believe used for insulation) and came to us palletized and individually wrapped.  The wrapping was deteriorated so we removed it.  These blocks evidently sat in the sun, which yellowed one or more sides.  This yellowing is on the surface and not all through the block.  I'd say it goes no more than 1/4" into the block, so you can definitely trim the yellow without materially altering the general size of the block.  We found that the yellowed parts will simply brush off and we are doing that for you before packing them to ship.
  • These blocks have substantial surface irregularities, gouges, scrapes, strapping dents, etc. as shown in the pictures.  Of course we will ship the best block we have on hand at the time of shipment, so first come, first served.
  • To keep shipping costs low we will wrap with stretch-wrap and ship unboxed.  This may result in minor dings to the styrofoam during shipment.  Please email us if you would like a quote to box and ship.

These are untrimmed raw blocks as they come bulk from the manufacturer.  Each block we're selling comes from a pallet that sat in a warehouse in the sun.  We are finding that there is some yellow fading of various degrees to one or more sides of these blocks, so you will receive a block that has at least some yellow fading.  You can see a mild example of this fading on the block in the first picture.  This fading is on the surface and not all through the block.  These blocks also have minor surface irregularities from either the manufacturing process or from bulk palletizing and subsequent handling.  You should expect the blocks to arrive with blunted corners and shallow dings or dents.  Of course we will ship the best block we have on hand at the time, and in turn, if you receive a block that was mangled in shipment so you can't use it for your carving needs, just let us know and we'll take care of the problem.

We have sold out of the better blocks that we had. The remaining blocks left have a little more substantial yellowing and some are dirtier than others which can mostly be corrected by painting them etc. Also they have a little bit larger depressions and some gouges and scrapes.
