A Cord with Lip is a 3/16" to 1/2" diameter cord with an attached knit "lip" used for inserting the cord into fabric seams. Lip cord can be used to edge pillows, cushions, upholstery, drapery treatments, bedding, etc. It can be applied by stitching with a zipper foot or piping foot.
