Dry Clean Only. Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor

 

Facts about your Down Comforter 
 
  • 1200 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Fabric - The number of threads per square inch of fabric. The finest quality Down Comforters will have a 100% cotton cover with a thread count of at least 500. The higher the thread count, the more durable and softer the cover. The higher thread count covers protect down from impurities as well as keep the down inside the comforter. This particular set has 1200 Thread Count with 100% Egyptian Cotton. The best of the best!!          
  • 750 Fill Power - Fill power measures the area occupied by one ounce of down. 1 ounce of this high quality down fluffs up to fill 750 cubic inches. This is extremely high quality down and absolutely the best down you will find at this price. You would pay over $2,000 for this comforter at a local retail store.              
  • 50 oz. Fill Weight - Fill weight is different from fill power. While fill power is a measure of the quality of the down, fill weight is simply measures the amount of down in ounces. Higher fill weights means there is more down inside your comforter. Higher fill weight comforters are warmer and more puffy.              
  • Hypoallergenic - Down that has gone through a series of steps to remove all the impurities, dirt and dander, will be noted as hypoallergenic or allergy free. Most people are not allergenic to down, but rather, to the impurities within the down. Not all Down Comforters are hypoallergenic
  • Baffle Box Construction - Baffle box means there are thin strips of material sewn between the top and bottom covers that form a grid of 12" square boxes (called baffles). The baffles prevent the down from shifting to the sides of the comforter.             
  • Double Stitched Seams and Piped Edging - Durable double stitched seems on the edge of the comforter  makes your comforter tough enough to withstand years of use. The piped edging gives a touch of elegant design.
