For sale are 13 Mystery/Suspense audio books on cassette tape by some of the greatest female writers

 These are all used tapes that have been inspected and appear to be in satisfactory condition.

The first book listed is unabridged and all the rest are abridged.

 The list is as follows:

(1) "Terror Stalks The Class Reunion"   By Mary Higgins Clark.  Read by Sally Kirkland. Unabridged.  2 cassettes/2 hours.  Synopsis:  Lovely young Kay Crandall has come back for the reunion of a high school where she once taught.  But Kay cannot guess that the happy occasion is about to turn into a nightmare - as she falls into the hands of a madman who wants to make her into his wife - and his victim.

(2) "The Lottery Winner"  By Mary Higgins Clark.  Read by Jean Stapleton.  4 cassettes/5.5 hours. Synopsis:  Continuing the story that began with Weep No More, My Lady, five short tales, including "Plumbing for Willy" and "Death on the Cape," follow the suspenseful adventures of a former cleaning woman and her occasionally befuddled mate

(3) "Cause Of Death"  By Patricia Cornwell.  Read Blair Brown.  4 cassettes/4 hours.  Synopsis:  When an investigative reporter dies during a nighttime dive at the old Naval shipyard in Norfolk, Chief Medical Examiner Kay Scarpetta discovers that in addition to carrying guns and ammunition, he was the victim of foul play. The death opens a door to a network of evil whose scope Dr. Scarpetta never could have imagined.

(4) "The Body Farm"   By Patricia Cornwell.  Read by Jill Eikenberry.  2 cassettes/3 hours. Synopsis:  Dr. Kay Scarpetta travels to North Carolina to investigate the murder of an eleven-year-old girl, but the evidence does not add up, and she must conduct a gruesome experiment at a remote research facility to find the answers

(5) "Unnatural Exposure"   By Patrisia Cornwell.  Read by Blair Brown.  4 cassettes/4 hours. Synopsis:  Dr. Kay Scarpetta explores cyberspace to find a killer bold enough to send her photos of the dead victim via the Internet. Not only does the murderer seem to strike in Europe and the United States, but the killer also contaminates the victims with deadly viruses, leaving a potentially lethal surprise for the forensic investigator.

(6) "Nest Of Vipers"   By Linda Davis.  Read Harriet Walter.  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis:  When Sarah Jensen, London's brilliant young currency trader, is asked by the Governor of the Bank of England to go undercover to expose a billion-dollar banking conspiracy, she quickly uncovers a colossal international scam. But the Bank of England has an agenda of its own, and soon Sarah becomes the prey, and the hunter is the official who betrayed her.

(7) "A Great Deliverance"   By Elizabeth George.  Read by Derek Jacobi.  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis:  The quiet life of the Yorkshire countryside is shattered by a brutal murder and the shocking revelations unearthed by Scotland Yard investigators Barbara Havers and Thomas Lynsley.

(8) "Final Target"  By Iris Johansen.  Read by Carolyn McCormick.  4 cassettes/6 hours. Synopsis:  United Nations First Deputy in Legal Affairs Sam Windrush investigates a murder that has taken place in the diplomatic community. For some reason, all of his colleagues appear to be doing everything they can to hinder his investigation, and, to make matters worse, the chief suspect is Sam's own daughter.

(9) "Bitter Medicine"  By Sara Paretsky.  Read by Christine Lahti  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis:  When diabetic and pregnant sixteen-year-old Consuelo Alvarado goes into premature labor, even V.I. Warshawski's frantic drive to the hospital cannot save her, and she begins an investigation of possible malpractice at the ER and uncovers more than bad medicine.

(10) "Blood  Shot" By Sara Paretsky.  Fiction.  Read by Kathy Bates.  2 cassettes/3 hours. Synopsis:  V.I. Warshawski's girlhood pal Caroline wants V.I. to uncover the identity of her father whick Caroline's dying mother angrily refused to divulge.  What V.I. believes to be a routine missing persons search in her old stomping grounds, leads her into a toxic mix of corporate chicanery and chemical corruption.

(11) "Burn Marks"   By Sara Paretsky.  Read by Kathy Bates.  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis:   When V.I. Warshawski's Aunt Elena turns up on her door step breathing breath of fire since her single room occupancy hotel burned down, V.I. knows trouble is close behind.

(12)  "Indemnity Only"   By Sara Paretsky.  Read by Kathy Bates.  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis:  V.I. Warshawski's new client gives a false name, sends her looking for a missing person who's not really missing. In the first V.I. Warshawski mystery, "Indemnity Only," we get a private eye who broke through the glass ceiling and started the latest trend of female operatives in mystery fiction.

(13)  "Murder In The CIA"  By Margaret Truman.  Read by Joanna Cassidy.  2 cassettes/3 hours.  Synopsis: When Barrie Mayer, a beautiful Washington, D.C.-based literary agent specializing in authors behind the Iron Curtain, suddenly collapses and dies in Heathrow Airport, her friend, CIA operative Colette Cahill, suspects murder.
