14 -15c Belt Utility Knife w/Hook End Wood Grip
A knife sure to delight any historical recreationist, this is an accurate reproduction of the style of knives seen on belts and being used in practical tasks in manuscript illuminations from the 1300’s into the 1500s, and as dug up in the London excavations. Made of a sturdy carbon steel in the curved half leaf shape so common to the period, these knives have a tang running the whole length of the hilt, and riveted in threes places, giving it a good sturdy construction guaranteeing years of use. Add to this the sturdy wood handle with the hook end for a sure grip, and you have a piece both functional end elegant. Each knife comes with a leather scabbard in either black or brown, with leather thongs to attach it to a belt.
