  • The battery is designed for exact replacement of the battery pack for iRobot Vacuum cleaner. e.g Roomba APS 4905 battery. 
    • To replace the inside battery, you need to take off 4 screws on the case, then put new battery with solid connection. 
    • Please make sure to check polarity of battery pack.  Red wire is always connect to positive.

How to replace the internal battery for Roomba 4905:


(1) Original Raomba Battery case (2) Loose all srews on the top. You need the (included) triangle screw driver to do so.



(3) Open cover, which may glued. You may need a flat screw driver to open it carfuelly, then take battery out


(4) Three wires with metal contact can be take away by pulling up the contact or cut wires off. Put new battery into the case and solder three wire back to metal contacts. Please check for wrong polarity.  Make sure Wire color match with original color

  • Red wire : battery positive
  • Black wire: battery negative
  • White wire: temp sensore

Then reverse above procedure to close battery cover.

  • Please note you need a special designed screw driver to open the cover, this driver is included in the shipment

  • Note:
    • There are some battery case that is glue shut. You have to exercise caution on pry open the case as we are not responsible for any damage to the case.
