This is a new black polypropylene/nylon 14 to15 foot (5/8" dia.) training lead with black pleather popper.   This rope works just like my more expensive ropes except it doesn't have the heavy weighted end. ( If the auction price exceeds 29.00, then the "weighted end" rope will be sent.)  The rope is equipped with a beefy 4 1/2 inch stainless steel panic twist snap.  Snaps easily slide on and off the loop at the end of the lead rope.  This rope is a bit softer and not as heavy as the Samson rope. It is also much more hand friendly!  Any rope can burn hands, but this one has a large enough diameter and soft enough feel, that most people will have enough time to squeeze tighter, move with the horse, or release their grip before a white burn ever happens. I can not say the same for any of the other ropes I carry. And I carry a lot, including Samson. If you spend much time using this rope, as I have, you may not want to go back to the more dense harder versions. This training lead does an excellent job when training groundwork exercises with a training stick, such as lunging, backing, yielding hindquarters, driving, C-pattern, sidepassing down a wall, etc.  The weak link in most quality ropes is it's popper. The same is true with this one, so I will include an extra pre-fit black popper (new) with each of these training leads. When needed, this extra pre-fit/precut popper can be attached in less than a minute.
