photos, text and artwork- directly onto your discs
The LightScribe SATA duplicator is a reliable, professionally built system with LightScribe labeling capabilities and with SATA connection that provides any user with a cost-effective, all-in-one solution for complete start-to-finish disc production. The LightScribe burners installed on this duplication device are special optical disc drives that offer a new way to label discs without the use of adhesive sticky labels, felt-tip pens, or permanent markers. Instead, a laser-etch label is burned directly onto specific LightScribe CD and DVD media. This innovative technology eliminates the cost for ink or paper label consumables and also gets rid of the worry of pen and marker ink causing seepage damage to a disc. Software is included so that disc artwork can be designed ahead of time with desired text and graphics. Fitted with a user-friendly LCD interface, the copy tower burns CD and DVD discs at an optimal speed to produce a maximum of number of copies every burn cycle. Burning speeds are adjustable and other standard menu features are available for advanced users. CD and DVD formats are automatically detected to ensure stable and secure buffer under run protected burning.
How Lightscribe DVD/CD Duplicator Works
1. Burn the image label you created from the saved file on your computer onto a CD.
(Label image creator software is included)
2. Place that CD into the reader drive of the Lightscribe duplicator.
3. Load LightScribe capable discs with the label side down in all of the writer drives.
4. Using the menu on the duplicator's LCD, choose and execute the "Print" function.
5. Burn your LightScribe label directly onto the discs in all the writer drives at the same time
6. Remember, the same drive that burns your label burns your data, too.

Duplicators are a fairly recent machines developed to give users a cost-effective solution to create copies of non-copy protected CDs and DVDs. These copy towers are standalone systems, which do not require a computer or any software to operate. The duplicator features a user friendly control that allows easy access to even advanced options with a few pushes of a button. A manual is included in the package that explains the different functions and how to operate them.
A duplicator consists of 3 major components:
- Source Drive (ROM or HDD) - where your master is read from.
- Target Drive(s) - where the blank media is recorded to.
- Copy Controller Card - brain that controls data flow between source and target drives.
Duplicators DO NOT COPY COPYRIGHT PROTECTED CDs or DVDs.

| Options
Hard Drive Option (Unavailable with 1-1 duplicators due to case space limitation): A hard drive is optional feature and it eases the deterioration of the reader drive and increases the stability of the duplication process. The duplicator allows you to take your disk, load it directly into the hard drive, then the hard drive partitions itself accordingly to the size of the disk and you can delete or store the information. Once the image or information from your master disc is stored into the hard drive, the master disc is no longer required.
External Connections (USB 2.0, USB 2.0/FIREWIRE COMBO): All our duplicators are standalone towers that do not require any connection to a computer. However, with the external connection option, it will activate the very bottom burner of your duplicator to function as an external burner drive. This option is mainly for users who do not have a DVD or CD burner to help them creating a master disc from their computers. The external connection is offered either as a single USB 2.0 connection or USB 2.0/FireWire combo connection. | | |
