THIS IS A SIMPLE PIECE OF JEWELRY THAT ALMOST EVERY HOME IN THE EARLY PART OF THE 1900'S HAD. EVERYONE HAD A COAT, AND EVERY COAT HAD TO HAVE A BARPIN ON THE LAPEL.

THIS WAS THE PIN THAT THEY WORE, WHEN THEY COULDN'T AFFORD THE FANCY DIAMOND ONES. YOU DON'T SEE MANY OF THIS KIND AROUND. THIS ONE IS PLAIN, WITH NO JEWELS OF ANY KIND, JUST 14K GOLD. WHITE GOLD, AND YELLOW GOLD. THE FILIGREE WORK IS NICE. LOTS OF CIRCLES, AND BEADING FOR THIS BARPIN. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE PIN IS BENT A BIT, BUT YOU WONT SEE THAT WHEN YOU ARE WEARING IT. THE LOCK WORKS LOOSLY, BUT IT WORKS. A LOVELY VINTAGE PIN IN MARKED 14K GOLD. WEIGHS 3.6 GRAMS. THE PIN IS 2.5 INCHES LONG AND 1/4" WIDE AT THE WIDEST ON THE ENDS.
