I think this might have been a man's pinky ring, but in the fourteen karat white gold, it's attractive enough for a lady to wear as a cocktail ring. The size is seven and one half, and the tourmaline is a nice medium shade of green. The stone is the size of a three carat solitaire diamond (nine and one-half millimeters diameter). It has two or three small chips but they are not visible to the naked eye, and do not affect the beauty of the stone or the ring. The stone is very securely set in the six prongs that rise from the recesses in the shank. Total weight of the ring is about twenty one-hundredths of a troy ounce. Marked "14K" inside the shank.
