An open frame ring that has a gorgeous...you call it, either a dragonfly or bee...the designer says she designed it to look like either, so we are calling her "Dragonbee"! HA. Anyhow, what makes this piece so special, other than the design, is the gems selected. This designer uses larger crystal clear rich colors which is MUCH more expensive than the same carat weight for lots & lots of small stones. WHY>>>because the BIG ones show flaws & the little ones can be just "eye clean". In otherwords, the big stones will show to the eye the gemstone flaws so they have to cut all of that away to make the big stones clean. This ring has all larger, clean & vibrant stones...some known as "Fancy" color, like the pumpkin orange body. She has an intense Ruby head & amazing fancy yellow Sapphire wings. To finish our Dragonbee off, she has bright white diamond eyes. Then there is the pretty flower...now what would an insect beeee without her flower? This one is a pretty blue Sapphire flower, again larger stones for her petals & a center white diamond & A DEEP grass green Tsavorite Garnet leaf. The band is a sturdy & comfortable wider shank. No catching or snagging with this pretty girl. This ring is gorgeous, but you will not fully know that until she shows up at your door step!! Very well made solid ring. Need I say more??
