Here is a nice new pair of flat pad earring settings. They are made of solid 14k yellow gold. The pads are 5mm diameter. You can glue or solder items onto the pad. The posts use standard friction backs. Please see my eBay store for backs, the item numbers are  1190046647895 for small backs  or 1190031566078 for medium backs.
