ID: This is NEW metal printing type for letterpress printing or hot-stamping.
The font is 14pt ATF Cloister Oldstyle figures; these are the ATF oldstyle figuresthat were offered by ATF as a special order. Cast by the Dale Guild Tpfy.. This listing is for the set of figures ONLY.
The types were cast on an ATF Barth foundry caster with new primary metals. These are the hardest printing types you can buy. They are more than hard enough for hot-stamping. True foundry alloy coupled with density! Density comes from 10-twenty times the casting pressure of Monotype cast types. Used well, they will last you a lifetime.
If you are not familiar with the use of new ATF or Dale Guild types, do yourself a big favor and put a font to the test. You won't need makeready. These types are .918 high, and stay that way for a long, long time. You can set and distribute, again & again and still need no makeready. Of course, someday you will, but you can delay this further by rotating the types, especially if you have several fonts in use.
CONDITION: NEW. Proof is a rough galley proof with the typical imperfections. The types are far better than the proof.
PAYMENT: You can use the payment link in the automated email if you prefer PayPal. M/O's, Cashier's checks, or personal checks are welcomed with 7 day wait. Payment to be recd. within 10 days.
SHIPPING/Handling: This font will ship Priority Flat-rate; $5.95 domestic. All packages are sent Priority Mail unless otherwise requested, with Delivery Confirmation at my cost. Many times I will use the Priority Flat-Rate boxes and save you money. The ebay invoicing system does not take into account Priority Flat-rate. Any overpayment will be refunded. I take much care in fonting and packing to make sure you receive you type in the condition it left my shop. Insurance is optional, but advised. Will combine metal type listings to save on shipping. but the most you pay for one or five, is $10.95. If over 25#, I usually ship in two boxes.
As of Dec., '07, I had to start charging $1.00 packing fee as I have run out of recycled bubble-wrap & peanuts, and good tape is not cheap. Thanks for your understanding.

Types are best sent via Global Priority Flat-rate Air Mail. They will have a special box that will carry a maximum of 20 pounds, and up to five fonts for $26.00 to Canada, all other countries @ $42.50. This means you can ship up to five fonts for this cost. If over 4 pounds, I will use the Priority Flat-Rate boxes and save you money. The ebay invoicing system does not always take into account Global Priority Flat-rate. Any overpayment will be refunded.
INFO: I have the priviledge of handling the sales of the types cast at the Dale Guild Tpfy, in Howell NJ. The propietor and I spend a week or two per month casting type and fonting the same. Please visit www.daleguild.com to view other pics of many of the types you see listed here in my ebay store, and a whole lot more. We invite your requests for types not presently available. We have been casting bookfonts this past year, and sometimes we have the time/metal to cast over the bookfont scheme and put a few fonts together. Unfortunately, with the high price of new metal, we can't afford the keep a large shelf stock. So when a new font appears, don't hesitate too long. All types are cast on ATF Barth casting machines, which produce true foundry types, not monotypes. See my "me" page for further info.
