You are looking at a like-new 14x5 WorldMax Black Dawg snare drum with die-cast hoops. I am the second owner, but she's in flawless condition.

These drums are widely renowned for their similarity to Ludwig's venerable Black Beauty. Like the BB, this drum has a thin brass shell with a really nice black finish. Also, like the BB, she has a nice ringy sound and a generous tuning range. I particularly like the strainer; it's very simple and extremely solid.

She's been gently used, and will ship with used factory heads - the batter is about done (but still sounds good); the reso is fine. There is absolutely no damage or corrosion - she's literally as good as new.

You will love this drum; this one's a workhorse!
