You are bidding on at least 15 eggs from rare Brabanter chickens. Extra eggs will be included! Very interesting looking, crested birds that lay a medium/large egg white egg. They are said to be an ancient breed of chicken and to have originated in the Netherlands or Belgium. Paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries show chickens that resemble the Brabanter. The roosters have a distinctive V shaped comb which resemble horns.
Eggs will be packed individually with bubble wrap and promptly shipped thru USPS Priority mail. Packaging and shipping will be $12 (continental United States only). I will personally drive out of my way to the Oklahoma City airport post office, which is open 7 days a week, to get these eggs sent off as quickly as possible. Most of my customers have received their eggs within 2 days of shipping, a few even the next day.
I recently hatched some of these chicks to verify fertility, however, I cannot guarantee your individual success due to the nature of shipping, weather considerations, and incubation.
