I have used the following abbreviations in my book descriptions:

    • HC = Hardcover Book 
    • SC = Softcover Book 
    • LN = Like New Condition – Book may have very minor issues such as bumped corners or wear to top or bottom edges of books; otherwise, in straight-from-the-bookstore condition.
    • VGC = Very Good Condition – May have some bends or creasing at the covers, spine or interior pages, but pages are clean and book is in very readable condition.  May have a name/stamp/sticker written/attached inside of the book.  May not have dustjacket (if it originally came with one) or dustjacket has some wear.
    • G = Good Condition – May have small page tears, small stains, writing in the book or a little loose binding.  Book is still in very good readable condition.
