Here is a Great Lot of Older Cookbooks and Advertising Recipe Brochures!

Just in time for the Holidays!

Most of these are from the 1960s & 70s.  I will describe them as best as I can.

#1. Lois Levine's "The Kids in the Kitchen Cookbook". Copyright 1968. This hard cover cookbook is in very good condition. The binding and pages are completely intact and there is no damage, stains or marks. 182 pages filled with great recipes for the family to enjoy together. There are neat black and white pictures throughout the book. Levine was a best selling author in her day. The recipes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced depending upon the age of your child. There are kitchen safety tips as well as helpful advise to truly make cooking and eating with the family fun!

#2. "Party Best Butter Cookies"  is a 27 page recipe booklet from Pillsbury, Saran Wrap, Sun-Maid Raisins, and the American Dairy Association. I couldn't find a date but by the looks of the advertisements, I would guess late 50's/early 60s.  The Old-Fashion Cookie recipes will take you back in time (including Sugarplum Cookies and many of Grandma's other Holiday favorites. It is in great condition with some fading only due to age. The little girl on the cover is priceless!

#3. "Cakes & Cookies" by Jo Ann Shirley was published in 1978. This is a 96 page magazine style cookbook. It is in good condition and completely intact with some wear noticed on the cover (1 1/4" tear at bottom of cover) and pages faded to tan.  It's no wonder that this one was put to good use.... the recipes are simple to follow and a pleasure to create!

#4. "Unusual Old World and American Recipes" is a 47 page advertisement recipe booklet from Nordic-Ware. No date found on this one either but by the price of the products and the article on Teflon, I'd guess it is also late 50's/early 60's. Great bundt cake and skillet dishes along with other ethnic favorites are included. ( I'll have to write down the recipe for the Harvey Wallbanger Cake before I ship them out!)

#5,6 &7. "Chocolate Town Classics" are 3 fold up little booklets from Hershey Foods Corporation. Copyright from 1968. Each one is in great shape and folds out to reveal 6 panels filled with  all different yummy chocolate recipes and sweet nostalgic pictures!

#8. "Your Waring Cookbook" from 1970 is a 96 page booklet filled with everything from appetizers and dips to desserts and baby food that can be created with your blender! You'll be surprised at some of the dishes your blender can help you make! This booklet is completely intact with no tears but the pages have been discolored with age and there are some stains on some of the pages (definitely does not look new).

#9. "Seasons Greetings" by Duncan Hines is a 14 page booklet with a special collection of recipes for December. It's in very nice condition with no damage, stains or marks. You are sure to find a great holiday recipe in this one!

#10. "Mixmaster Mixer Recipes and Instructions" from Sunbeam is a 47 page booklet printed in 1972. Very light staining on few of the pages and 1/2"  slight tear on the top of front cover. Otherwise, it is completely intact with a nice variety of recipes.

#11. "Wonderful World of Cooking and Homemaking" "Italian Recipes" is a 29 page advertising booklet from 1967.  Colored pictures and mouth watering recipes throughout the book. It is completely intact and in very nice condition with no damage or marks. Many neat old advertisement pictures too!

#12. "38 Answers to What's Cooking" is a 23 page advertising booklet from Carnation Company printed in 1961. Aside from a small handwritten cooking tip inside front cover and few very light stains, this one is intact and in very good condition considering it's age. You'll be picking up the evaporated milk after reading these great recipes!

#13. "Orange Slices and Jelly Squares" is a 2 page black and white advertising brochure from The Ervan Guttman Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was printed in 1981 and has some great tips and recipes for some sweet treats this holiday season or any time. It has only very slight staining and 2 staples are still attached to the paper.

#14. "Nilla Wafers & Fruit Recipes" by Nabisco is an advertising pamphlet from 1981. It has 17 pages and looks like new! You'll find wonderful pictures (in color) and sweet recipes for the holidays and all year long in this one!

#15. Finally, the "Warm 103 FM Cookbook" from 1984. This 97 page soft cover cookbook is not as old as the others but I included it because it is in great condition and is loaded with super recipes I know you will enjoy!

I have relisted this item at a reduced price...Hope that helps!
