This solution contain only 5% Propylene Glycol to help reduce the greasy residue and help prevent skin irritation. In addition to the low PG all solutions have a small amount of natural Glycerin to help aid in the moisturizing of the scalp. Glycerin is highly "hygroscopic", which means that it absorbs water from the air. This helps reduce the drying of the scalp caused by the alcohol used to deliver the Minoxidil. The alcohol in the solution dries within a few minutes, and the Glycerin and Azelaic Acid in the solution are left with a slight stickiness until they are absorbed into the scalp, which this helps to increase delivery of the Minoxidil and Azelaic Acid.


All our solutions contain 5% Azelaic Acid [50mg per ml]. Azelaic Acid is a powerful DHT inhibitor. Where Azelaic acid is applied, it can reduce the level of DHT by 90%. Since DHT is the chemical that attacks the hair follicle, preventing and removing it from the scalp will aid in the regrowth of new hair.

DHT (Dihydrogen Testosterone) is formed from the combination of the hormone testosterone and the enzyme 5-Alpha-reductase. Azelaic Acid blocks the 5 alpha reductase which prevents the conversion of Testosterone into DHT.
