IMPORTANT INFO: Official HDMI authority certification guidelines highly recommended that 7-10m and longer lengths of HDMI - DVI cable be specified to at least 26awg in order to deliver reliable Full HD 1080p video and without loss of quality or failure which is common with long cables that do not meet this requirement. American Wire Guage ('awg') is essentialy the gauge or diameter of the wires with lower numbers being thicker.

ALL Neet™ HDMI cables at 7m and longer are specified at 24awg which meets and then exceeds the official HDMI requirements to produce an extremely reliable, heavy-duty cable without losing the ultra-high speed and pure digital quality our HDMI v1.3 cables are renowned for. HDMI-DVI cables work in both directions ie: You can send video from a DVI source (eg: laptop computer) to a HDMI enabled HDTV... or from a HDMI enabled device (eg: PS3 / Sky HD etc) to a DVI enabled HDTV.

IMPORTANT INFO: Digital Visual Interface (DVI) does NOT transfer audio... it is a VIDEO connection and even using the highest specification, fastest digital cable available (as we do at Neet) a DVI - HDMI cable is not able to transfer an audio signal between devices... it is a basic limitation of DVI (Including DVI-D single and dual link)
