This is a very unusual item in that I've never seen one before, hence the high price. Abe Lincoln (You know the guy who invaded the South) being photographed for posterity (Did you know that thousands upon thousands of photos taken during the war were left to rot by a nation sickened by the carnage of that conflict? Some of the plates were used for glass in greenhouses!!!) by some chap who obviously doesn't have a camera in his mobile (Cell phone.) The lady is dressed a little more like a southerner but the dress would not have been out of place in Washington society.
