What is a Kosher sheitel (wig)? Kosher wigs contain NO Indian human hair. Indian human hair has been questioned by rabbinic authorities as to how it was being supplied through religious temples. It also is still unclear if the hair donation is considered an offer or tithe. The particulars of the halachic (legal) rulings on hair from India also vary widely according to the understanding and opinions of the leaders in each community. Due to these reasons, any wig that has been made with Indian hair or blended with Indian hair IS NOT KOSHER. 

Due to the concerns with Kosher products and with sellers exploiting clients, we create our Kosher wigs in a seperate factory than our Indian human hair extensions and lace wigs are manufactured in. We also store these delicate Kosher items in a seperate area of our warehouse so that there is no chance of the wigs integrity being compromised.
