This is a BRAND NEW 16 inch Water Gong, also called a Double Light gong made by the famous Brass Percussion Factory in WuHan, China. This gong is 16" wide and 1" thick and has a bright to moderate tone with a shimmering crescendo. It is lightweight and can be played softly for a moderate roar to a massive crescendo, a lot of sound and volume for a gong this size. These are called Water Gongs because many percussionists submerge these into a water-filled basin to get a unique descending effect when played. The sound is very similar to a Chau gong but with a slightly brighter shimmer. A mallet and stand are NOT included.

THESE GONGS ARE ALSO VERY USEFUL IN THE PRACTICE OF FENG SHUI AS THEY HAVE A VERY SOOTHING SOUND WHEN PLAYED SOFTLY. SEVERAL CUSTOMERS HAVE ADDED THESE GONGS TO THEIR NATURAL HEALING METHODS FOR THE SOUND QUALITIES. THEY ARE EXCELLENT TOOLS FOR MEDITATION, NATURAL HEALING, FENG SHUI AND EVEN AS SIMPLE HOME DECOR TO ADD A TOUCH OF ASIA TO ANY ROOM.
