16' x 10' King Canopy Awning in Linen Solid
Non-Motorized with Teflon-Coated Polyester Fabric

This beautiful 16' wide awning extends 10' out from your house.  It provides 160 square feet of additional backyard living space and protects your family from the sun's heat and harmful UV rays! 

This awning can also help lower your energy bills.  Shading your patio doors/windows can reduce inside temperatures up to 20 degrees!

The awning cover is made of superb 600 Denier Polyester, a light weight fabric that is very strong, weather resistant and quick drying.  The added Teflon-coating will prolong the life of your awning and guard against oil- and water-based stains, dust and soil.  The Teflon-coating keeps the fabric looking newer longer, helps prevent fabric deterioration and improves mildew resistance.

What Size Do I Want?

Choose your location.  Due to the weight of this unit, King Canopy recommends mounting this canopy to the side of your house only.  Mounting the canopy to the roof or eaves of your house can cause considerable damage to your house.  The wall must be free of any lights, gutters, downspouts, poles, electrical wiring, or any other obstructions.  Make sure that when the awning is extended, it will not hit any obstruction.

Measure the height of the wall where you want to mount the awning. You will need at least 8.5 - 9 feet of clearance from your deck or patio to the top of the awning.  We recommend 9 feet or more for best service.

Measure the width of the wall where you want to mount the awning.  King Canopy awnings are available in widths of 12, 14, 16 and 18 feet.  Allow an additional 2-3 inches of width to be sure you have enough room.

A- The amount of clear space (10 inches) to mount awning.
B- Distance (16 inches) from top of awning housing to bottom of front cloth valance
    when closed.
C- The minimum height recommended (9 feet) to top of awning cover.
D- Length (8 inches) the cloth valance hangs down, which may vary.
E- The clearance (6 feet 7 inches) from floor to bottom of cloth valance when mounted
    at 9 feet, which may vary.
F- The awning will drop approximately 21 inches when fully extended when set at the
    highest pitch.
