16 Pc. Anchor Hocking Royal Ruby Red 8 Cups & 8 Saucers

This auction is for 16 pieces of vintage Anchor Hocking Royal Ruby red glassware.  Anchor Hocking started making Royal Ruby in 1938.  There are 8 each of cups and saucers making 8 complete sets.  The saucers are 5-3/4" in diameter.  The cups are 2-3/8" high x 3-1/2" in diameter across the rim.  They are in very good condition, especially when you consider the age.  There are a few very tiny fleabites about the size of a pin point on the very bottom edge of a couple of cups and one tiny fleabite on one handle.  There is a large area of fiber-like lines on one cup.  You can see this in the picture.  There are waves on the circle where you place the cups on the saucers from the mold.  There are bubbles and lines from the mold on them, which is very common.  As far as wear, they look like they have never been used.  There are no scratches on any of the pieces.  These are great pieces to add to your collection of Royal Ruby.  They will make a holiday or Christmas table shine!  Perfect for serving coffee or tea at breakfast or with snack or dessert after dinner.  Very nice!
