| One 16 inch strand of high quality 4mm Chinese crackle glass- the deliberate inner fragmenting of the glass bead creates crystalline flashes of light reflected from the heart of the bead. The exterior of the bead is color coated, allowing glowing, shaded, or two toned effects. Very striking, gemlike beads!
I combine shipping as cheaply as possible on all orders. Smaller orders ship by USPS first class mail, which charges by weight, so you will be charged a small fee for each item. For orders over 13 ounces, I use USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail, which features faster delivery times, free delivery confirmation, and no charge for the weight of the package. I combine shipping without per item charges on anything that fits in one Flat Rate envelope or box. To avoid being overcharged for shipping more than one item, please contact me for the correct total before you pay. The automatic invoice system is very unreliable, and tends to charge way too much. Buy $50 at a time, and you won't have to worry about shipping rates! Free shipping for orders of $50 or more! Returns, undelivered packages, etc.- Usually, there are no problems. Most modern beads, particularly the ones imported from China, are not made to exact sizes. The quality of Chinese beads tends to be good, and the size of the beads on any given strand is usually consistent, but the sizes are imprecise. Strand lengths vary by as much as an inch from the stated length, and the sizes of the beads have usually been rounded up or down to the nearest millimeter. In other words, a 16 inch strand may be anywhere from 15 to 17 inches in length, and 6mm beads may be anywhere from 5.5mm to 6.5mm. This is typical of all beads currently being manufactured. (I have seen similar disclaimers in all of the bead catalogs that I have received this year.) |
