What we are offering here is a sadly defective, although still extremely rare early 17th century copy of Michael Drayton's "Poly-Olbion"
This book is small folio in size and features some very nice woodcut head/tail pieces and woodcut initials.
The book has been collated and is unfortunately lacking the first seven leaves (including main title) and all of the plates. The large majority of the text is still present, however, and in nice condition.
The book is completely disbound, retaining one loose board. The binding has split into sections and will need rebinding.
Internally, there is soiling in places, but this is mainly to the page edges.There is light staining towards the rear of the book, but this is only mainly to the lower portion. Please look at our scans to fully appreciate this item.
In summary, this is a good copy of a rare book.
