You are buying one of Black Acrylic fake plug with Scorpion Logo. The wearable size measured at the centre is 16Gauge or 1.2mm  but gives the illusion look of wearing 0Gauge (8.0mm) plug. The stem is made of 316L nickel free surgical steel and the main body is made of Acrylic with Double Clear Silicone O-rings for best fit on your ear.  This is very easy to use just unscrew the end off and you put it thru your lobe and screw the end back on to complete the insertion.
