An old man (Karloff) is responsible for killing the woman who possesses her, a woman he once loved who he found in the arms of another man. (Wikipedia)

Having finished THE RAVEN (1963), Roger Corman shot this film in only four days using the same set and the same two lead actors.
Sets for both THE RAVEN (1963) and THE HAUNTED PALACE (1963) were reused in this film. The tree that Sandra Knight rots against at the end was the one to which Vincent Price was tied and burned in THE HAUNTED PALACE.
