very comfortable seat, all wool flocked and has flocking slots so can be customized by a saddle fitter this has soft wool it is a left over from our tack shop. This saddle rides correct and feels like my more expensive Verhan to me I really love the position the new Paris puts you in - email me with any questions the leather is not stiff and is very soft to the touch, gullet is ample in width and good construction to fit horses even with wider back bones no pinching and the gullet is evenly spaced.

From the front of the gullet  from the inside space between the top of one panel to the top of the other is about 7" from D ring to D ring is about 8.5" if I put the tape directly on the D ring the 4" measurement was the center of the gullet in the saddle to show it has good spine clearance from front to back I would consider this about a MW tree.
