17" Alexander 1949 Margaret NINA BALLERINA Clover Tag
Nina Ballerina doll is in beautiful condition in tagged all-original costume. Her Tutu has been washed and does have holes. Nina retains her gold foil clover tag: "Nina Ballerina // Made of Finest // Plastic // Can Be Washed". Bodice tagged: '"Nina Ballerina" Madame Alexander, N.Y., U.S.A. // All Rights Reserved'. Her paint is mint & gorgeous with no fading, chipping or flaking. Huge grey-blue sleep eyes have full hair upper lashes and hand-painted lower lashes, a sweet pouty mouth and blushed cheeks. Fine single-stroke brows match her golden blonde floss wig, which is pulled up from the temples into a bun of curls on top with a lovely bandeau of cloth roses. The five-piece body is jointed at neck, shoulders and hips. This charming creamy-white ballerina costume has a rose at left shoulder, with 3-layer tutu and 2-layer fluttery sleeves of the finest rayon net, trimmed in shiny silver rickrack ( melting of netting, holes are hidden in the folds, larger holes in back). The bodice and dropped waist are heavy satin; separate panties are creamy taffeta. Peachy-pink satin ankle-tie slippers have fuzzy soles. This gorgeous young lady is ready for the stage!

We ship UPS ground and insured for domestic shipments. We use USPS for international shipments. Shipping costs will vary depending on the size of item, type of packaging required and location being shipped to. We can only supply an EXACT quote once the item is packed and we have the exact weight and dimensions. All items shipped are insured (unless instructed otherwise at your own risk), packed with care and WELL PROTECTED. We ship via UPS, unless another carrier is specified. The International shipment quotes listed with the auction are an estimate. It could be more or less depending on the specifics of the shipment. Please include shipping address, zip code, desired method of shipping and insurance required for a closer estimate. Please note that large, heavy and/or fragile items or antiques will require additional time and cost to pack and ship.
Insurance is $1.00 per hundred that you wish to have insured. We strongly encourage all items shipped to be fully insured.
