17 PIECE PORCELAIN VICTORIAN TEA/COFFEE SET ~ FREE S/H

Description: Surprise your guests with this gorgeous brand new 17 piece Victorian style porcelain tea/coffee set in lusterware color with light-greenish trim. The dishes feature a classical Victorian scene – a romantic couple dancing in the garden - on a stunning sheen background, which creates a mother-of-pearl-like effect, with multiple colors of variable intensity depending on the light.  You can see some of this effect on the pictures, but you really have to see the dishes “in person” to be able to appreciate their beauty.  The distinguishing feature of this set is that the tops and the bottoms of the dishes are trimmed with a beautiful greenish trim,  which complements their sheen background and creates a nice contrast with the gold trim of each piece.  Unfortunately, my camera could not capture the true color of the green trim, it looks more gray on the pictures, but it's actually a very light elegant green.  This is a medium size set (the teapot holds 22 ounces), which include the following pieces:

          - 1 tea pot 7.75” high x 7.5” wide (from handle to spout) + 1 lid

          - 1 sugar bowl 4.25” high x 5.25” wide (including handles) + 1 lid

          - 1 creamer 3.5” high x 4.25” wide (from handle to spout)

          - 6 cups 2.5” high x 4” wide (including handle)

          - 6 saucers 5.25” diameter

These is a great quality set – made of fine porcelain, designed in elegant shape, very ornate, all pieces are gold-trimmed and have gold accents.  All the pieces, except for the cups and saucers, have slightly scalloped edges; most pieces feature vertical ridges, which enhance their elegant design; the saucers have heart-shaped openings carved around their perimeter.  The design of this tea set was probably modeled after vintage ones which used to be produced in Germany (Each piece is marked “Porzellan Fabrik, SMCS Tirschenreuth Bavaria, Germany design”).  The set comes in a very nice gift box and will make a beautiful, very expensive looking gift, or will be a wonderful addition to any porcelain collection with Victorian theme.   

This is a brand new set, but I had to open its box to inspect the contents and add more shipping material to secure your order.  Unfortunately, the picture didn’t come out as nice as I had hoped due to a lot of reflection.  This set definitely looks way better “in person” than on any picture.   THESE ARE THE LAST 2 TEA SET IN THIS DESIGN THAT I HAVE - DON'T MISS THEM!
