Compatible Models:

This MacBook Pro LCD screen replacement is for MacBook Pro 17 inch laptops that have a standard CCFL backlight. This display will not work with the newer (late 2008 and newer) MacBook Pros with LED backlights, or the brand new Unibody MacBook Pros.


If you look on the bottom of the computer, you will see "Designed by Apple in California... Model#AXXXX. If your model number is one of the following, this is the correct display replacement for you:

If you have a MacBook Pro with the model number of A1229 or A1261, you need the LED replacement screen service that we sell  here .

After you purchase our MacBook Pro LCD repair service, MacUnwired requires you to send your laptop in to us for repair. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the computer to us via whichever carrier you prefer at any speed you would like. We will ship the computer back to you via USPS's priority (2-3 day) mail. Please be sure to wrap the MacBook Pro in at least 2 inches of large bubble wrap. Do not include the battery, powercable, or disks with the computer in the box. Just include a note with your Name, Address, Phone number, and Email address.

If you need your MacBook LCD replaced as fast as possible, MacReboot offers a priority overnight service to get you your computer back fast. This service will put your computer at the top of our priority list so it gets done the same day we receive it for repair. You must ship it to us via overnight AM delivery (UPS or FedEx) so we receive it before 3PM Mon-Thu. Once we receive your computer, we will replace the LCD and ship it back to you overnight the SAME DAY. So you will only have to be without a computer for 2 days. To receive the overnight service, be sure to pick the express mail shipping option at checkout.


Local Drop Off:
