Each plate with two page description of the person.
Title leaf, contents leaf of first 80 portraits, 160 pages being end of Volume I then 56 pages.
The binding is defective with boards detached.
Internally very good with 13 plates having a small library stamp at bottom blank margin. The plates are in very nice condition and sell individually for upwards of $80-90 each, a complete collection is very desirable.
