Description: This very interesting map of the River Torridge between Bideford [note the spelling variation in the title] and Appledore was published in the November issue of London Magazine in 1754 [one of the early maps published in this famous magazine]. Decorated with a nice compass rose and a tree cartouche, it showed the waterway and the important 18th century seaport in great details with some very interesting notes on the map.
Please note the low starting price with no reserve for this historically important document [especially in such nice condition]. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
