Condition:  

      This very nice map [city plan of Jerusalem] is in very good condition [i.e., clear and clean image, strong paper, vivid color, and slight but even age toning]. It was printed on handmade laid paper with a blank verso. There are two distinct watermarks as shown [for one of them]. Issued with three folds with binding trim at right nicely repaired [or extended with same old paper] and one of the fold line repaired with archival mending tape. Ample photos [front, back, details, and the watermark] are presented in high resolution for your convenience.

Description:

     This very nice map of city of Jerusalem was originally engraved by Emanuel Bowen (1714 – 1767), a prominent British cartographer and mapmaker. The map has 25 keys marking various gates and locations of landmarks according to the scriptures. In addition, the city of David, the temple were all prominently depicted.  A beautiful collector’s item, indeed, please note the low starting price [e.g., retailing >$350 for the same map of similar quality] with no reserve.
