Bound in full contemporary vellum.
“Rarísima colección completa de concilios Mexicanos”. [con] Concilium Mexicanum Provinciale III. Celebratum Mexici anno 1585. México, Ediciones de J. Antonio de Hogal, 1770. [con] Statuta Ordinate a Sancto Concilio… 4 obras en 2 volúmenes. Encuadernación en pergamino de época. LA MÁS COMPLETA EDICIÓN DE LOS CONCILIOS MEXICANOS, impresos por Hogal en México; comprende los 3 Concilios que tuvieron lugar en México en el siglo XVI, los dos primeros en español, y el tercero escrito enteramente en Latín, siendo ese prácticamente inhallable; según el diccionario de Porrua este 3er Concilio: “es el mas importante para la vida religiosa y social de la Nueva España”. El cuarto titulo, también en Latín, y referido a los Concilios, también es raro en comercio. Hogal es sin lugar a dudas el mejor impresor de México; Francisco de Lorenzana fue Arzobispo de México entre 1766 y 1772. Binding: .Full contemporary vellum Size : 11.3 x 8 inches. Condition :Both bindings in very good condition, text in very good condition too. Marginal water stains in a few pages.
