An unofficial trade dollar,the final date of the famous Maria Theresa Thaler has been restruck intermittently since 1780 to modern times at many world mints.It has been used in many areas that lacked a firm local coinage,particularly North and East Africa and the Near East.Gunzburg Mint was where the original Thalers were struck.

Beautiful and "famous" Silver Trade Coin restrike dated 1780.. 39.5 mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick..weighs 28.0668 grams and contains 23.3890 grams (0.752 troy ounces) of fine silver.
