This is a very rare antique Piano Forte, built by the George Astor Company, of England, in 1790. It is in remarkably very good condition, especially considering its age of over 200 years. It is all original and untouched, with all original felts, leathers, a fine porcelin nameplate, and case components. This is also a very unusual piano, in that it has a mechanical damper lever in place of the later lyre/trapwork. Full delivery logistics available. At The Greenbrier Piano Company, we are fortunate to have a very nice selection of true museum quality collectable pianos of various types available at this time along with our full inventory of contemporary pianos. A complete range of piano restoration services, acquisitions and marketing is offered. For additional information, please contact us through ebay, www.greenbrierpianos.com or greenbrierpianos@yahoo.com. We invite you as well, to visit our other auction sites currently on ebay, to enjoy the other three rare antique pianos being offered at this time. Thankyou for looking here today.
