Here are some of the Emprise's features...

Motor:
The motor is 250W high-efficiency BRUSHLESS. That means it's top of the line. This motor won't create drag or friction and cut your battery efficiency 15%-25% like BRUSHED motors do. That equates to extended range. There are no brushes inside the motor so you won't have to replace them when they wear down making the motor ZERO MAINTENANCE.

Battery:
The battery is 36V10Ah Li-ion (Lithium-Ion). It slides out easily from the body for your charging convenience. The battery weight is extremely light at 8 lbs. The battery can be recharged 1,000+ times without adverse effect. That's two times the life of NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries and about 10 times that of SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries. Plus, you won't have to "baby" this battery (plug and recharge immediately after every use) like you would an SLA. SLA batteries are not environmentally friendly and cannot be recycled! Lithium-Ion batteries are RECYCLABLE! In addition, Lithium-Iron Phosphate batteries are the safest batteries you can buy for an electric bicycle. You'll be getting a top quality battery.

Everything else:
The throttle is a motorcycle style throttle. Just twist and go. The throttle also has a multi-colored LED power display to let you know when you're running low on juice.

The two hand brakes come with an automatic motor kill switch. That means when you brake the power to the electric motor will cut off allowing you to brake safely and with confidence.

The Emprise also comes with a front cargo basket and rear storage rack to make errands and grocery shopping easier.
