A very nice late 1800's Violin. I also have listed a German made Copy Joseph Guanerius. This violin looks very close to the same and the estate said they believed it was also German made, though there is no label inside. I know little about violins, but it does look to me to be nearly identical. Has been played quite a bit as the enamel is worn near the hand grip area. Has a bow, case in rough condition, and a couple old string packages. Appears to be in good condition and quite restorable.
A beautiful violin . . .just needs a home and some TLC. No wood damage . Ready to be re-strung and enjoyed.
From a fine antique estate sale.
