1800's Old Horse Hitching post hand forged Towel Ring

You get shipping to all 50 states for free!

  • This hitching post ring is 9 3/4 long and the ring is 3 3/4" in diameter and made from 3/8" thick iron.The back plate is 6 1/2" long and 1 3/8" wide.
  •  I put the1800's harness ring on the neat 1800's window hardware back plate.
  • I am including 2 super1800's rose head nails.
  • The ring, back plate, and the screws all have a nice matching texture and color.
  • I sprayed it with 2 coats of clear acrylic lacquer finish by Sherwin Williams. This is far better than a hardware store spray paint! This clear finish has superior scratch resistance that is made for interior and exterior iron. You can  paint over it with your own favorite color!
  • The hitching post ring would be great for display or use.
  •  It would make a great rustic looking towel ring to hang a hand towel.
  • The ring and back plate has a great hand hammered and shows wear from its use. The joint is visable from when the blacksmith hand hammered the ring.
