This is a very beautiful antique piano that strikes up conversation and demands attention in any room. I'm moving to a smaller home, and will no longer be able to house this relic of American musical history. It needs some work and is definitely not tuned - but a piano affecionado who recently came by to see it said it's totally restorable and should be in a museum! I believe this was manufactured in NYC at the end of the 19th century. It's actually in beautiful shape, and the only restoration it needs is restringing and a couple missing keys... I'm starting the bidding at half what I paid for it --since I absolutely cannot bring it with me! Thanks for your interest --Carl Chesna, Asbury Park NJ.
