Map Title: Übersicht der ausführlichen Charte des Russischen Reichs.
Printed: Weimar, 1805


A charming map of Eastern Russia, which also extends to Prussia, Turkey, and the Near East. Shows Moscow, St. Petersburg, Archangel and Siberia’s Tobolsk. Vividly depicts the Ural Mountains. This is an original engraved map.  Very Good condition, and retaining a strong impression. Suitable for framing. Sheet measures approximately 7.5 inches x 9 inches (19 cm x 23 cm).

 

 


This is an original map from a multi-volume scientific journal titled "Allgemeine Geographische Ephemeriden", which issued fifty volumes from 1798-1816 and which encompassed critical contemporary topics of geography and astronomy.
