1810-20'S MAKE DUE 16 PANE 2PC FLATWALL KITCHEN CABINET

This would be a great one for the kitchen in an early setting or homestead. This is a 16 pane 2pc. what we call here "make due" flatwall cabinet. THIS IS SOLID CHERRY UNDERNEATH A COUPLE LAYERS OF PAINT. As you can see in one of the last photo's below this has a great old oxidized back and all the boards due line up. What we are trying to say is that this 2pc. cabinet has been together since the day it was made. A bit of information about this 1810-20's flatwall cabinet. This was found in a Hocking Hills log cabin home and has probably been there since the day it was made. However, over the years the family probably didn't have much money and they made due with what they had. The base was found in the kitchen and the old 16 pane top was found in a really neat looking log constructed smokehouse out back. The top had old 1950-60's print paper on the interior that we removed and found hand decorated what is left of wallpaper that was used throughout the old log home. Some of the pane's of glass have been replaced at one time. The corners of the doors are hand pinned(see close up below). This peice is 76 1/2 tall x 48 wide x 21 1/2 front to back in inches. The glass pane doors are 20 wide and 37 tall. The inside shelf area's are 45 1/2 wide x 11 1/2 front to back. The 2 drawers are 15 3/4 wide x 14 1/2 front to back x 3 inches deep. The two lower doors are 20 wide x 28 tall.
