DETAILS

A leather bound volume, with gilt detailing to the spine. 

This book aims to promote the spiritual welfare of mankind.  There are seven discourses in this book, being: on the true method of attaining divine knowledge, on superstition and atheism, on the immortality of the soul, on the existence and nature of God, on legal and Evangelical righteousness, on the insufficiency of Pharisaic righteousness, and on the excellency and nobleness of true religion. 

CONDITION

The binding is tight and firm with both covers and all internal pages securely attached. The spine is split and hanging loose, being attached to the rear board only.  There is some wear to the extremities, including a couple of small chips to the boards and cracking to the spine.  Internally the majority of the pages are clean and bright, although there are brown spots on some pages, including the title and blank-end pages.  Overall this volume is in very good condition.
