Dublin: Printed By J.Jones, 1823. First Edition. 12mo, with engravings, bound in half calf leather over marbled boards with gilt spine, very good condition. This rare little booklets covers China, India, Ceylon as well as parts of Afghanistan. The engravings show an elephant hunt in Ceylon, a bird-catching spider, and a man in a carriage being transported by natives. The title page vignette shows a man riding an elephant. Rare as only 3 copies could be found in Worldcat.
