I don't think my father, who was a bit of a coin collector, would have minded if we sold off some of these coins and used the proceeds to help with next year's family reunion. I don't know much about grading conditions of coins, but I think this half dollar would be graded as fine or very fine. It shows some wear, but all of the lettering is sharp and easily readable.
