   Here is a transitional Dutch bottle !   Circa. 1830-45.. Olive / Black glass , 11 1/4" tall , 3 1/4"  wide at the base ,  Very crude applied band-like string lip ,  base has ghosted letters , 1/2" kick-up ..... The bottle has no chips , cracks or dings ...  Fresh from the sea ...it has opalesence , light haze and remnants of  barnacles/coral on the glass consistent with it's long immersion . Found off East Java.. Crude and heavy bottle !
