This 1837 RE (Reeded Edge) Capped Bust Half Dollar grades AU53-55. This is an Original uncleaned coin with a very attractive natural... kind of golden-grey toning. The surfaces are very nice also, there are no problem marks, hits, or scratches. This coin is well struck and some nice luster remains in the more protected areas. Just a very nice example of the Reeded Edge Half. This coin would make a welcome addition to a high grade set.
