Description: It is an original engraved map in great shape with a dark impression on a bright high cotton page. It is from an 1844 edition of Malte-Brun System of Geography, published by Samuel Walker in Boston, 1844. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The fine print caption along the bottom reads "Boston, Published by Samuel Walker." Also shown are Sweden, Norway, Finland, Russia, Iceland, Britain, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Prussia, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey in Europe, Greece, Rumania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Yugoslavia and other places.
Size: The print image measures approximately 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches on a 9 by 11" page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age printed on a bright high cotton page. Thereis a very light brown areas along the right side, almost unnoticable on the actual pic. Otherwise, it is a beautiful print in great condition that will frame up nicely. Disregard the pinkish tint of the pics, the actual print is much better.
